The Palestinian Trade Center (PalTrade), in partnership with Oxfam, is implementing the “Baladi Atayab” campaign, which was launched in 2017 as part of the Economic Justice Program. This program aims to protect and secure livelihoods for marginalized men and women by improving market access for small-scale farmers, promoting fair agricultural production and market systems, and facilitating small producers’ entry into markets.
Specifically, the “Baladi Atayab” campaign seeks to raise awareness about the quality and availability of Palestinian products in the local market while influencing Palestinian consumer purchasing patterns to prioritize local products over non-Palestinian alternatives. Ultimately, this leads to a sustainable increase in income, enhancing profitability and productivity for the targeted agricultural sectors through this campaign.
